Hi anyone

Looking for some advice.
I have my (deceased) father in law's original Blenheim Bomber flying logs and personal diaries of his bomber exploits in India and Burma against the Japs in 1942-44.
He ended up in the USA working on I believe RAF Gannets. His wife has a lot of information and spare bits but essentially I need advice on how to tell this story rather than let it all fester in a museum

I don't even know if I am in the right Thread

The log books of Sqn Ldr F J Pidgeon were left to the RAF Museum. I hope his family don't think they have been festering away in there because. along with other researchers, I've found some extremely useful information in them. Log books often contain information not recorded elsewhere but, unless they are in an accessible location such as the RAF Museum, they can be very hard to trace.

You can loan the documents to them, they will be copied and returned, then your father's story is available to researchers who use the museum. And it will be appreciated.

And then you can also publish yourself comparatively easily on the web. Take as inspiration this website on Cliff le Couteur, a South Pacific flying boat pilot. The diaries have been published as an on-line blog, an appropriate way to do it.

Sorry, the link to blog spot doesn't work from here but look here and you will find the link in the first post: Link to Cliff le Courteur blog (http://theflyingboatforum.hostingdelivered.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=551)

Good luck

Blenhiem (?),
if you wish to tell the story may I suggest you post on that superb site 'gaining a pilot's brevet in ww2. I am sure cliffnemo et al will make you most welcome.
