Brisbane Airport

What happened on the Runway at Brisbane Airport This morning I hear That a aircraft had broken down on the main runway after been given take off clearence.At the same time i beleive a Air New Zealand flight had been cleared for landing. Air/NZ had to abort???

No intimate knowledge of it, on the radio news they said an Air Niugini aircraft was cleared for takeoff but had a technical problem, the Air NZ aircraft had to go round, no big deal.

I believe the issue was caused by an airport security vehicle sneaking across an intersection to check on some crab pots. The boys are cooking up a storm Saturday night and had been checking their dillies all day.
One of the perks of driving around the Brisbane airport swamp all day !

I heard they were planning on crab sandwiches made with Danish buttered bread and a Swiss cheese platter
