So, where do you think this great company of ours will be in 2010?

a Manning @ 30000.

b MRA4 cancelled in 2007 due to overuns/costs.

c NAV/WSO's redundancy plan, due to overmanning from 2002 retention incentive and Typhoon implementation.

d Due to the (GOD forbid) Herc J accident during low level tac trials, an extension of older models implemented TFN.

e Golden hello's still in place to encourage NCO AA to join the service after the mass exodus in 2003, seen as fallout from the retention review of the previous year.

f The Goverment remembers the contribution of SNCO Pilots/NAV's and FE's during WWII, especially during B of B and orders that SNCO Aircrew will be encouraged to retrain as Pilots/WSO's in an effort to cut costs, due to our continuing over commitment in the Gulf.

g FSTA debacle finally dropped from the military agenda due to spiralling costs in the Middle East fight against Terrorism.

h Due to grave recruitment problems, all aircrew salary to be paid inclusive of flying pay for pension purposes, as seen in professional aircrew scheme in 2002. This, it is hoped, will encourage more aircrew to join and stay in the service, so that they may enjoy a pension on parity with their civil service counterparts.

i VC10 relife program complete, allowing 15 yrs extra whilst funds are sought to re-energise the FSTA program.

Nah, it won't be like that, will it?

. .It'll probably be worse, I'm glad I'm not hanging around to take all the S4it that goes with it.

Regards
