Is it possibly that anyone knows what they file as there ATC Flight plan AND remarks. Similar to this of an IFR Commercial Flight.

Just curious as to in that format what the Flight Plan ATC would see. Thanks.

No flight plans are filed to my knowledge (same for HEMS & Rescue).. they jsut call for lift/transit or whatever and state their intentions.

I would guess that if its a police helicopter responding to a report of a chase then how can they file any sort of flight plan.:ugh:

If they knew in advance where the crime was going to happen it would'nt happen:D

So whats your point:mad:

No - but they can if they really need to. So - what's your point?

Why would they file a flight plan ? .. they are VFR and don't need to.

If they weren't VFR they wouldn't be much use would they ? unless the baddies had transponders

No different from me flying from Fairoaks, book out with the tower when the engine is running and that's it.

:ugh:

The answer is probably in the SFN. Also the rebuttal to Heathrow Airport's incorrect suggestion
