Pilgrims to Mecca

The RAF has now gone into the travel business curtesy of HRH Tony. The boys in Thumrait are now moving pilgrims from Kabul to Jeddah for the Haj.

Funnily enough they are a bit concerned as to the security issues, some of these pilgrims are the same ones who murdered their own aviation minister. Also there are rumours that 350 Al Queida have been released back into the community (a bit like Nth Ireland, they wont re-offend. Not!).

Remember it only takes one!!!!

So the RAF is being abused by transporting our friends to Mecca. It cost my Mum £1.50 on the bus but she can get that back if she gets a full house. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

London (Reuters) Wednesday.

Unconfirmed reports from government sources state that the RAF is flying Afghan pilgrims on the Haj after they lynched their Transport Minister due to delays caused by leaves on the runway.

According to latest reports, the Tourism Minister is believed to have been killed by members of Security. The "would be" pilgrims were in the terminal about 300 yards away.

Apart from the obvious concerns voiced here, please make sure whomever looks after them in the cabin is fully awake and alert at all times.. .Speaking from experience with flying the Hadj run; they like to light a small fire in the aisle to heat up their tea-water and never having seen a modern toilet they do unspeakable things to the lav.. . Friendly people, nice white dresses but a major challenge to transport.. .Good luck to the RAF! <img src="eek.gif" border="0"> <img src="eek.gif" border="0">

I see nothing wrong with transporting these people in a C130 .. any hint of a problem open the back doors and pull up steeply!

Tend to agree with flaps, having carried them last year its going to be a steep learning curve for the loadies trying to keep them in check. I thought that the Gov had banned carrying civvies in the old Alberts or is that as per usual only applying to us Brits and as 6N says families. Will be interesting to see if they ban the families on the open days this year. Good luck lads and lasses I am glad I am out of it now. <img src="tongue.gif" border="0">
