Hi guys, just a quick question; what sort of time span am I looking at from passing an interview with an AFCO to getting to Cranwell. I heard around 2 months, is this still the case?

Thanks

Hi DA!

Yep, 2 months is about right. Obviously the main criteria is actually passing the nause that is OASC, and then depending on what you're applying for and what places they have left (some one tell me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the delightful people at doris are getting towards the end of the recruitment year and may be trying to just fill slots that they have left) then yes the 2 months bit sounds about right! Plenty of time to get that lobotomy on the NHS, allowing you to put up with the rigours of IOT. I believe that there is also serious conversation going on to make the course longer. God alone knows what they've found to extend it with, it's hard to work out exactly how they justified extending it to 6 months!

:) :)

Things are always worse than they seem!
