Hi guys,

Has anyone any advice or experience of hiring a Citation Excel sim just for the purpose of sitting the ATPL skills test. I'm guessing I will need to budget for a couple of hours. Does anyone have any clues how much it will cost in total?

Thanks.

I assume you have some Excel experience on another licence? or on your cpl?
I only ask because it is an expensive way to do your ATPL skills test....

Farnborough FlightSafety will probably give you as good as rate as they can, especially if you tell them you are self funding.

You need to have a sim partner... you might find a few willing candidates on pprune...

Good luck.

Thanks smallfry. Yes I meet all the requirements for the JAR ATPL issue and have the type endorsed on my JAR CPL licence. Got about 700 hours on the type.

Dont want a full course just want to hire a sim for a couple of hours with a suitable examiner. However dont want it to cost the earth.
