Acronym Help

Hi all,

Hopefully a quick one for someone out there.....

What is the meaning of the acrnym TBHSI? I've seen it noted a couple of times but have no idea what it stands for, does anyone out there know? I've done a thread and Google search but to no avail.

Probably Time Before Hot Section Inspection, refers to flying hours left on a turbine engine before borescope of the hot section (i.e. combustor, nozzle box and turbines) required.

TB = time before
TS = time since

Not that uncommon expessions, as is HSI.
