Hi

Since discussion forum on Pilatus owners (POPA) is evidentlly dead, I would like to try to estsblish some PC12 community here. Are there any pc12 pilot, owners, operators?

As I was doing my 100hrs inspection in Switzerland someone told me, there will be sixth release of Apex software. Anyone has some idea about improvements inside?

It will mute the fire warning after engine start and the main improvement will be coupled vnav and coupled vertical nonprecision approaches.
plus some minor changes.

Hello PC12 Pilots !

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I'm guessing that as aviation is a small world, then the PC12 world is likewise ?

I saw ajob advertised recently for PC12 drivers with Jet Exchange Ltd, and looks like they will type rate. As I've never been near a PC12 I would be very interested to know a little(ie a lot) about it - pros and cons. From what I've found via google, it certainly looks a nice flightdeck - glass - all singing/all dancing etc. Would be very interested to get some nitty gritty about its operation eg performance, handling, comfort - it's going to operated two crew- etc.

I've searched for Jet Exchange and come up with nothing ? They look like a management company who source aircraft and crew for customers, but if any of you know of them, and would care to express an opinion (feel free to PM if you like), it would be appreciated. Will also ask a general question in the Biz Forum.

I've been redundant for a year now, although have had some freelance work over the summer. Nearly 7000TT, mainly ERJ135BJ/145, and some DHC8 time many moons ago.

Thanks in advance.

However 50% of my flights I canīt open.
But I am shure you will fix that.

Our first registered user!!!!! Welcome.

Well I have just fixed my stupid bug. Now you should be able to open all of your flights.

Enjoy and please recomment app to others. I do not make any money on it, but it motivates me to add new features in it.

That was fast. It is working perfect now.

It would be good to have a feature to show the track in Google Earth, with altitude.
I have a small GPS Logger, witch can do that. It is perfect for review after trainingflights. But sometimes I forget to switch it on. It would be good if the aircraft could provide the same.

By the way, we got the APEX software built 6 on our PC12 already.
It flies perfect VOR and GPS approaches with the autopilot now, crossing the treshold in 50 feet.
But still no coupled VNAV.

Do you have a mail adress? I would like to send you some pictures from time to time and ask you for some comments.

There seems to be an ever growing number of PC12's in the UK. I visited Goodwood recently and there was a nice collection of Manx registered examples there. The PC12 is certianly a fine looking aircraft!

Trying to figure out how to upload the data to use the flight analyzer application. Do you use the sd card? Thanks

Has anyone had issues with the underfloor heater in the PC12? Specifically, has anyone had an overheat happen?

Back in the early 2000's, we had an underfloor heater that would pop the breaker on an irregular basis. I don't remember what the cause was, but since it was under warranty at the time we were able to put in a replacement heater. That solved the problem.
