Hi all,

I'm an electronics engineer who applied as aircraft technician (avionics). Luckily I got hired. Is there big possibility for me to be promoted in engineering position?

PS: My company is an MRO of A320/330/340

Thanks in advanced

Yes you can, some companies will put you through the licences or support you through them, it is in their interest to, whether or not they will bond you i do not know.

Normally Internal vacancies do arise & a promotion can be on the card, depends on Company policy.

Its up to you to do the work I guess, however, Im sure alot of companies would be happy to help someone on the way, i.e. if you were with them for a few years, you had all your B2s done they might be happy to pay for an a320 type course as it would be in their interest not to waste someone with the experience and the exams complete.
