Hello !
Does anyone know the EASA status of SE792NW STC for Cessna 152 ? This mod increases takeoff power and RPM of trusty O235 from 115@2700 to 125@2800. I checked EASA approved STC list from Certification | Design approvals | Supplemental Type Certificates (http://easa.europa.eu/ws_prod/c/c_tcsupp.php) , there no mention about SE792NW. I also send email to stc @ easa.europa.eu , no reply for about week now.

regards
Ericson

It has also been approved for installation on 3 UK registered Cessna 152's
see

Now according to our authority the CAA

However, evidence of prior approval by a National Aviation Authority is required.
For later modifications, evidence of approval by EASA must be obtained in order to allow the aircraft to be released to service.

I would think it would be the same for you, would you not contact your authority and be allowed to install it as it has been done in the UK prior to that date? As the link above gives you the approval and details of those aircraft.

Found it

General Aviation FAQ (http://www.easa.europa.eu/ws_prod/c/c_general_aviation_faq.php#1)

Grandfathered approvals
What are grandfathered approvals?

Any STC approved or validated by any member state before the establishment of EASA is deemed to be approved under Regulation 1702/2003 Article 2a. This covers all previous approvals from minor changes to major changes, STCs and complete aircraft, both certifications and validations with the exception of products of the former Soviet Union. It also covers the flight conditions approved for aircraft operating under national Permits to Fly issued before 28 March 2007.

And as said this is the proof... (along with the other 2 aircraft)

Therefore as it was approved by an AAN by the CAA prior to that date, it should be acceptable throughout EASA, but check!!
