Hi All,

Just after some info regarding the 747-800 aircraft. It is due to test fly at the end of the year, and was wondering what type of maintenance authority will be required? ie will it be EASA B1? I cannot find it on any lists yet!

TOJP

p.s also has any company placed an order yet?

I thought it was the 747-8 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_747-8) Or are you on about a different beast?

we're getting some -8F's. I'm on a course next year!

It won't be on any lists yet as the type has not been certified.

By the end of 2010, the first 747-8F freighters should be approved and delivered. That's what we're getting, original course was around now, but been put back a year due to the delays.
