Appreciate that this thread has been moved and is closed, but one site that anyone who has ever served in NI has to see is <a href="http://www.portadownnews.com/index.htm" target="_blank">http://www.portadownnews.com/index.htm</a>

Go to 'previous issues' and check out the Drumcree Special.

This is a funny site, not a propaganda one btw. <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

As the poster of the original site, may I just whinge a little to the Moderator who banished it?

As I mentioned at the time, the post was just intended for informations' sake and I knew that there were other places where I could've posted it. The trouble was that it was only really intended for the reasonably select bunch who visit the military forum. The result of this was that we were receiving a steady stream of relevant and interesting sites to us military chaps and chapesses. When it was put into the computer and internet section it just became unvisited and dormant.
This isn't the civvy Rumours and News forum and, as such, does not seem to be as busy. Is there any chance that we could move my original post back to here? I suupose not, but I think it might be worth considering.

I'm not surprised - the rip-off Pprune site was crude and disgusting to say the least. I'm not sorry that it has gone, but it is sad that others have gone with it.

Yes, I know who I am and I apologise unreservedly to all concerned here on the Military Forum.
As an ex military I thought, at the time, it was just a piece of harmless fun at Christmas time and likely to be appreciated by most military types, especially those a long way from home.
It was definitely not porn in any way, but inappropriate nevertheless. If you want near porn you must go to the PPRuNe Bash forum where you will see actual interaction, between the sexes, of a very rude kind, at a recent 'Bash' - that is why I thought my post was 'safe'.
I got banned for it and have be reinstated on appeal.
Once again, seriously sorry to all concerned - wont happen again! <img src="confused.gif" border="0"> <img src="redface.gif" border="0"> <img src="frown.gif" border="0">

Yes, Ghenghis - it was a very tasty advent calendar and was most certainly not porn! A reasonably well known lawyer e-mailed me a copy......allegedly!!

I missed the link......

But we're not grown up enough, or resilient enough to deal with smut or innuendo are we, so a big thank you to the moderators for kepping us out of harm's way......
