Mr. Sabelli (CEO of the new Alitalia) has said that Alitalia will only keep its own ground handling services in FCO hub. It is not clear whether he was referring to Italy or all operations. There are rumours going on that Alitalia handling LHR (quite a big handler) will be merged with Cobalt Ground Solutions.
Anyone heard anything?
Quite sad as the ground handling division in LHR had been operating since many years and has many airline customers.
