I guess it's already been answered on previous threads, that EY do indeed take DECs for all fleets at the moment.

Does anybody know of a recruitment ban between EY and EK? I understand that there is yet EY still hold approx. 300 EK applications on their books.

Any info appreciated.

Also, DECs isn't a dirty word (or group of words). I've been in the wrong seat in a few companies now with the command eventually coming, not because it was promised during an interview, but because of skill and hard work. Most pilots would take the DEC job if offered, so stop the whining. It happens......

Dont believe everything you read. EY is happily accepting applications from Captains but the last invitation for a DEC interview went out in July 2008. The recruitment of the recent Management DEC was done outside the normal channels.

The only time DEC may be considered again is 2011 but then its only a possibility.

yeah right and who's gonna fly the next 3 A320's as all A320 captains are all flying 80 hours already, night turnarounds back to back....?
Ok MFF is stopped but still......

Chandler, without doubt the A320 crew are working hard and if I were on that fleet I am sure I would be more than a little peeved too but the fact remains that there are no DEC interviews planned for any fleet now or later. There are though A320 Captains in the pool but none have so far been offered employment.

and No
2 crews per month fm A320 to A330.

Chandler, how about being accurate when you post "information"? That would give more credit to your chronic whining.

we were not talking about crew but about planes so chandler has been accurate

Insiders say that short term future will show DEC's again and stop of MFF....

Let's see.....
Whining is not the issue....lack of trust it is. When management lies to pilots, it's just bad. We used to base our life decisions on what management could tell us in proper airlines, and people in these magmnt seats had the balls to say yes or no.
Here, never say no, always say what the other party wants to hear . Lying is not an issue. It used to be a sin in all religions , but it seems to have changed status to be elected to a skill.....

chandler do you have any more news about future delivery of ordered airbus 320?

why do they want to stop MFF?

shortfuel

are the 320 pilots still moving to 330?

Chandler answered "No"...which is wrong, at least until the end of the year...

and

we were not talking about crew but about planes so chandler has been accurate

A little bit of coherence, please...

CCQ 320 to 330 doubling 2010. MFF seems to be the target with all pilots being dual rated except 320 FO (Lotsa cadets next year).

DEC probably not needed until mass exodus starts in a year or two.!

why is the ccq gonna be doubled? due to the new 330/340 arrival next year?
if they are gonna double the ccq from 320 to 330 they will probably need more 320 rated pilots from outside, won't they?

for ccq i mean that a pilot is moved from 320 to 330 to fly permanent 330,is it the same for you or do you mean mff when you use the code ccq?
infact mff will be different because a 320 pilot would be moved to 330 to fly both

Jet Airways may lease out two Boeing 777 aircraft (http://diamondpilots.*************/2009/10/jet-airways-may-lease-out-two-boeing.html)

Mumbai, (PTI) (http://www.ptinews.com/news/313357_Jet-Airways-may-lease-out-two-Boeing-777-aircraft) Close on the heels of Air India inviting global expressions of interest to lease out seven aircraft, the airline's private counterpart Jet Airways has initiated discussions with foreign carriers to lease out two of its wide-body airplanes.

"We are in discussions with Oman Air and Etihad for leasing out two of our Boeing 777 aircraft," airline sources told PTI here.

Jet is looking for wet leasing of the planes for at least six months and a decision is likely to be taken very soon, sources added.

When contacted, a Jet Airways spokesperson confirmed that the airline is in talks with some overseas air carriers to lease out the two aircraft but declined to divulge details.

"We are exploring all options but have not yet taken a final decision," the spokesperson said.
