While looking at aviationjobsearch.com today I noticed that Etihad are advertising for an airport manager Baghdad.

Apply for the Airport Manager - Baghdad job posted by Etihad Airways, AviationJobSearch.com (http://aviationjobsearch.com/jobs/other/iraq/airport_manager_baghdad-54979.html?search_no=3)

When do you guys start flying there? That'll be an interesting trip no doubt

There're also Duty Manager & Airport Officer gigs advertised that talk a lot about pax handling. They might just be cut/paste jobs of course, but they certainly give the impression that it's a passenger operation.

Bagdad is opening up and most ME airlines are looking into starting operations in there.

QR will start ops very soon. We will all see eachother there on the ground as well, probably with the same time tables and same types of aircraft:}
