Our newer CAE sims work fine. Cause a full dual channel FADEC fault and the plane will autotrim the rudder.
The older Thompson sims though, won't. For some reason, the FMS is continuing to use the last known N1 before the fault. Shouldn't there be some discrete to the ARINC bus or FMS that tells the FMS whether the N1 is valid or not so that after the fault, the FMS uses a lower N1 and allows proper autotrim?
