MCDU concept

good day to everyone !!

i'm having this hard time to source out the exact MCDU operation.

i want to innovate the crt-based mcdu into touchscreen lcd-based, its a research paper topic so anything would be in theoretical side. this is a requirement in my graduate school so i am seeking assistance at all cost.

can someone help me anything, as in anything regarding this please ?
