Is there a specified time following the above knee surgery, that one can't fly, assuming an uneventful recovery?(Passenger to Florida)

The advice we give our patients is that the risk of DVT on a long haul flight is raised for 3 months following lower limb surgery even an arthroscopy.
The risk on shorter haul flights is smaller.
Speak to your surgeon, insurance company and airline, they may have their own rules.
