A friend of mine is receiving training towards the EASA Part 66 AML A and B requirements. Yet, he and his pals are not sure what needs happen after their schooling as EASA requires several years of experience working under a Part 145/MRO before the AML request can be filed.

We all know that these are not the best of times to find a job in the industry, but is there such a thing as a niche for low waged apprentices, or will maintenance organizations always prefer to hire licensed staff or are these totally unrelated markets?

Second question, what is the best bet? Line or Base MX?

Third question, any idea's of which airlines are looking for apprentices?

I appreciate it very much.
