Anyone in Oz used one of these (http://www.mypilotstore.com/mypilotstore/sep/1622)??

Are they any good? I have been trying to track one down in Australia...can't seem to find one anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get one? They seem to work best on the Bose headsets.

Cheers

The other type I have seen is an audio input for the actual headset, replaces the cover on the other earmuff that doesn't have the mic, and you plug directly into that.

Personally, I'd be going for this CD / MP3 Player to Intercom Adapter - MyPilotStore.com (http://www.mypilotstore.com/mypilotstore/sep/3331), then everyone can benefit.

For $10 you can go to an electronics store like jaycar and buy a 'double adapter' audio output jack, and a cord to go from your ipod to the jack. Plug your ipone into one side, your headset into the other side and voila. You come across some similar issues that are highlighted in the reviews of the headphone adapter in one of the links above but for more than 1/3 of the cost it's a palatable solution.

Or you monitor the radio for traffic as per your charge as a 'Pilot'.

These adapters may be a nice idea but unless they silence the music when the radio is active as per an approved system, then you are leaving yourself open.
