Christchurch Press reports this morning a light twin made an emergency landing at Napier with an engine shut down which apparently caught fire.
Anyone know more? type? operator?

'Twas the RNZAF King Air. Cutoff one engine inflight and landed safely. Not 100% sure of the engine problem though.

Was it a problem of no fire in the engine, too much fire in the engine, or fire in the wrong places in the engine? :E

Cheers team, thought it might have been one of my old steeds.... fire would not be out of the realms of probability for some of them. :bored:
