AVGAS Availability Italy

Good evening gentlemen,

as I'm in the planning stage for a flight to Lamezia terme, Italy from Frankfurt/Main Germany I'd like to know which airports with an IFR approach and AVGAS come to mind for a fuel/oxygen stop. A/C endurance is about 5h. Speed average 170kts

We`ve used Milan Linate for a stopover with our 421 frequently. Nice FBO no hassels everything works well there.

careful cause i don't believe Lamezia themselves have fuel!

Confirmed, LICA has no AVGAS.

Suggest routing EDDF-LIRA-LIRI-LICA

Take enough AVGAS on at LIRI to get you out of LICA.

Wouldn´t use LIRA cause of landing fees.
Use LIRZ / Perugia - no crowds, no slots, very friendly people. ILS available.

EDDF - LIRZ is 450 nm (ovhd-ovhd)
LIRZ - LICA is 305 nm (ovhd - ovhd)

What ho, check Aloa (http://www.aloa.it) they do fuel all over Italy. The fuel lady is a super Lady.
