How much does it approximately cost to send a kid to private school ( primary/ secondary), after deducting CX contribution ?? Are there differences between HK Island/Lantau Island?

My seven year old attends an international school. We do this for a number of reasons, one of which is the school has proper grass sports fields.

I pay $22000 on top of the allowance, $14000 capital levy which CX doesn't cover (even though the school insist it is school fees), $10000 tax on the allowance money and $1300 a month for the school bus,

Total out of pocket approx. $59 000 per kid per year!!!!

Doesn't look so good when I add it all up

Thanks. Sounds a lot to me, since back home (Switzerland) school is in general free (university as well).

Count yourself lucky. Private day schooling in England for an 12 year old now £12500 approx HK$ 160,000 per year out of pocket.
