Kapt. Where did you here about this. Lots of rumours in this part of the world about start up carriers or new aircraft types.

Seems to be true. Local media now reporting PB Air will commence Saab 340 operations with the 1st in September and a 2nd in October this year.

OZThai told me bout that too ZFT, They are hiring Expat cos no Local at d moment to fly it, suspect that will change as they train locals.

SGA Airlines is a Chiang Mai based regional Airline operating scheduled services within Thailand. SGA operates a fleet of Cessna Grand Caravan and Saab 340 Aircraft.
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and reliable Saab 340 Captain to join our dynamic and close knit team in operating our newly acquired Saab 340 aircraft. Additionally, will be required to undertake TRI duties as a training captain, and be responsible for conducting line checks.
Applicants must meet the minimum requirements:
* 3,000 Hours Saab 340
* Command Rating with TRI for Saab 340
* Current ATPL issued by ICAO member state
* No accident history
* Saab 340 TRE rating advantageous
Candidates who apply and do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered for this position.
