Leeds Sightings

[Yeadon Dam]

Please can anyone help with the following sightings.

Last Sunday (9/8) we had a Spitfire and Hurricane doing a low flypast heading East.

Yesterday we had 10 RAF Red Arrows hawks doing a low pass in the afternoon heading West.

Can anyone tie these registrations up and also confirm what these planes were doing.

Blackpool had a show on the 9th with the BoBMF displaying which would probably account for your Spit & Hurricane passing on a homebound flight. Yesterday the Arrers were displaying at Eastbourne and Galloway, Scotland then probably returning to base as they're in Norfolk this week. (they get about a bit!). For aircraft identities you'll need to find reports of these events.
