I have a new laptop - one week old.
The resolution is set to 1366x768 pixels and normally displays text in a size that is easily readable on the 16 inch widescreen like this:-

however, some sites have started displaying with text much smaller that I cannot read, like this:-

Can anyone explain this (and suggest a solution)?

Even resetting the basic resolution to 800x600 doesn't solve the problem - the text size is still tiny (and the images are blurred).

Edited to add:-
The 'problem' doesn't occur on my old (faded-screen) laptop.

Try using 'ctrl' and '+' together to zoom the page.

Or with a wheel mouse, Ctrl plus scroll!

Thank-you, sir - that'll do nicely!

Might be worth looking at the Preferences settings in your new browser.

Just spotted this G-C...is it totally resolved? (pun?)

The Ctl zoom system is very handy, I use it all the time for proof-reading :-)

However, it can lead one astray as it is program-specific. ie. you can come out of Pprune and go to a standard res screen in another program, but when you go back 'home' to Pprune, you will find it's small again. Ctl 0 (zero) is the datum reset.

This should only leave the task of finding the Native resolution, which I'm sure you ascertained on day one.
