G-IDDY wasn't destroyed as far as I know.
Sean De Rosier was rebuilding it at the time he was killed in an accident in his One Design. subsequent status not known

It was offered for sale as a project a year ago, still located at de Rosier's workshop as Vacaville/Nut Tree Airport, CA :

Pilot's Notes for the Chipmunk T Mk 10 - originally issued by the British Ministry of Defence - will soon be available as a free-to-view e-document. It is expected that the Flight Reference Cards will also be available in this format.

29 Jan was the 52nd anniversary of my first flying lesson: Chipmunk 915 (we didn't record reggie letters in our log books for some reason), instructor Flt Lt Dick Kidney, Church Fenton, Leeds UAS.

My first AEF was back in 94 at 9 AEF based at Finningley

25 minutes up in WD390 with FLT/LT Baddeley. I still have the little blue certificate.

Is this old girl still flying?
