Looking at the "mayfly" for Lourdes airport for this week an intersting movement is planned.
Wednesday 12 Aug VS813p A340-600 eta 16.55 local from LHR.
No departure is shown before 17 Aug. does anybody know if this is going into open storage or to PAMELA for scrapping.
At the moment there is already an Iberia A340 + kingfisher A340 parked outside the PAMELA hanger.

G VATL & G VGOA will be parked there for about 18 months.....:ok:

Surely desert storage would be more apt rather than a year and half in soggy Europe?

I doubt that these two will even go back into full time service with VS as in 2010 the A333's arrive to replace some A346 that VS arent happy with

Both are parked at Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées now
