Was passing through on Friday morning and got a bit of a surprise when I saw this rather large T tail aircraft. Any ideas what it was doing?

I've heard that there has been one or two though NCL earlier today, also. I guess it's troop flights, but it would be good to get a confirmation from somebody "in the know".

It was a troop flight to Cyprus.

Its a real aeroplane with dials and professional flight engineer on the flight deck combined with lots of noise on take-off. None of your mamby-pamby glass cockpit nonsense!!
