Just wondering what anyone knew about Kiwi Air. Im working for an Ag company as a loader driver at the moment with a CPL. Was wondering how I could build hours up in single engine turbines (I know mustering isn't turbine). Skydive pilot I guess is also an option. If anyone has anything to contribute to any of the above that would be great. Cheers

As you mentioned, mustering won't get you any turbine time, however it will give you some valuable experience and teach you a healthy respect for the laws of aerodynamics. Especially Vs.

Depending on what sort of experience you already have, 12 months mustering would be time well spent. You will probably need 1500 hours before getting a look at a turbine, although your ag experience may open a few doors sooner.

Have a look here Pilot Story - Mustering Pilot - C172 - Pilot Career Centre (http://www.pilotcareercentre.com/PilotsLifeStory.aspx?id=177)

Good luck.
