Wonderful airshow (as always), however a disappointing lack of Red Arrows/Typhoon action.
Maybe they weren't requested by the museum, although I'd find that difficult to believe as on the three prior occasions I've attended this airshow the Red Arrows have been there, and the Typhoon was there last time I was (2 years ago).
I find it all the more surprising as they were both performing at Sunderland on Saturday as far as I'm aware, which is only a few minutes flying time away.
According to the Red Arrows site, they are performing 94 displays this season, only 5 north of the border though. Pitiful!
The Typhoon will be displaying 4 times out of 29 displays in Scotland. Hmm, a bit better, but would have been nice to have seen it at East Fortune.
Incidentally, the event wasn't completely without the RAF.
