You picked a fine time to leave me, loose wheel
I know... coat already on, where's my hat

Twenty-six wheels on my wagon
and I'm still rolling along
The engineers are chasing me
spanners fly, right on by
But I'm singing a happy song
(with apologies to Burt & Bob)

Why are all the witty songs Country and Western?
Probably all about wives leaving, dog dying, tornado coming (unlike F104s a Tornado will probably just fly on by) without leaving a mark.
It can't be THAT serious when you have 26 wheels left - especially at training weights (ooops masses).
Well done with the songs!

Did the drivers even notice the tyres had fallen off, until they walked round after landing ??

Reminds of me the post in the ATC Humor thread (https://www.pprune.org/atc-issues/59309-atc-humour-merged-31.html#post1761939).
There's a story about the military pilot calling for a priority landing because his single-engine jet fighter was running "a bit peaked."
Air Traffic Control told the fighter jock that he was number two, behind a B-52 that had one engine shut down.
"Ah," the fighter pilot remarked, "The dreaded seven-engine approach."

I would have thought a C-5 losing a wheel is pretty serious...
