All I know is from chatting to a mate. I think that the majority of their jet aircraft (=all?) are based in Luton and crewed by freelancers. Rates of pay vary upon experience and are agreed between the freelancers and the company.

They fly CJ2s under the callsign 'Saltire'

May be wrong or incomplete information, though.

Their current chief pilot was the commander involved in this King Air incident. Lucky escape. Bit concerning that a professional pilot of his experience failed to give any brief to the pilot given the job of positioning the aircraft the following day, given that the aircraft had been put through 'extreme' manoeuvres. Bit concerning that there was no appropriate entry in the Tech log ! Its basic stuff.

How funny, Haven't been on pprune for ages and I can see that people are talking nicely about me, ZE French Guy!!by the way am the short dark hair one not the tall one as we were two french guys at one point at ACS...
Fortunately I married a british girl who gave us two wonderful children but mostly made me less of a typical french arrogant f....
Tom I still have your mobile and will give you a ring soon...life is great here in annecy but am not flying for ACS anymore. Used to be good and convenient for me doing freelance for them and i had lots of fun very good team to work with..

anyway in conclusion, YES some french guys can be nice but they have to travel first and see that the world is not just them as for many other people I suppose.....bon vol a vous tous and have fun...

Anyone able to provide details on life on the Legacy fleet at ACS?
Usual terms and conditions type questions such as roster, pay etc; but also lifestyle in general, eg. any interesting destinations/nightstops/decent hotels....
Any info appreciated.

You seem to be a bit confused dude. Are you asking about 247 jet on an ACS thread? Or am I missing something?
