C-17 into Farnborough or Odiham?

Living just South of Farnham I was typing madly when a very loud whooshing noise seemed to be directly overhead. By the time I had cleared the house and barn whatever it was was nowhere to be seen. Was it a C-17? Time vaguely about 1250 on Wed 22nd July.

Update - due cancellations of other acts at Odiham, schedule moved forward - now depart Brize 1550, display Odiham 1620, return Brize 1655.

Did the DC-6 show up at all? We drove past Odiham just after 2pm and there were a number of spotters at the end of the runway... Just a Chinnok messing about.

Not getting any updates from field at the moment . but there has been
cancelations .The F16 from BRIZE Dutch airforce is said to be.

Vulcan did a good display but it was criminal to hold it for 15-20 minutes whilst waiting for a Me109? and a dippy Hawk.. Lord knows how much the fuel cost...
