Just like the Kingfisher thread, thought this would make an interesting one. Please post comments on why AI is in this current state of affairs and how it can walk out of this one.

It's about time AI management open it's doors and welcome international airline experts as directors or CEO. Many have the right type of experience and have been through large scale airline financial and operational restructuring and know the pitfalls and what works. AI should be willing to learn from those that have been there and done that or atleast include them in the advisory board full time.

From making a NET loss of approx. 11 Crore INR :eek: TO rising like a Phoenix............well that could be a while!:ugh:

I guess they were better off before the merger and the so called transformation to NACIL!:ok:

they say , no recruitments for 3 years. does that include hiring of pilots too ? in which
case what will happen to Air India & Sons !:D
