Anyone any news what happenned to GF3 after landing in LHR on 28th June . Normal landing , pulled of 27R , starts the taxi to T3 when suddennly loud bang , Aircraft skids to a stop and pulls to the left . Captain comes on and says that they have to shut the engines down and that a tug will pull us to the gate . Aircraft surrounded by BAA vehicles ! after 30 mins tug arrives and pulls us to the gate ....nobody says a word . I think two things could have happenned. LHR has a taxi one way system and I think he may have taken the wrong taxiway , either that or he run out of fuel !! Comments please ?:ugh::D

How do either of your odd theories fit into your story of there being a big bang??

The mentioned aircraft was A9C-KE, I doubt there fuel ran out because you don't hear bangs when that happens, the engine just dies (shutdown sound). I think it's more of a hydraulic failure which led into steering problems.

was that a GF plane????????? wow weird! was it the 777?
