Plane was on fire before it hit the ground in Richmond killing two pilots (http://www.vancouversun.com/travel/fiery+Richmond+parking+plane+crash+near+Ikea/1776106/story.html)

It being the Sun and Canwest.....

Elsewhere (CTV?) it was reported that the a/c was following an Airbus fairly closely.

Untrained eyewitnesses are notoriously unreliable; the mind tends to confuse the sequence of events when delaing with traumatic experiences.

Wake. Just over 600', 2 mile final 26R, approx 1015pm local.

Very closeknit community here at YVR South, most of us in the cargo runs knew them/of them. Made for a very quiet morning today.

Reminds me of the other time a plane crashed into Richmond. That wasn't too long ago, hurts even thinking of that time too.
Except that time was Transport Canada's fault, shouldn't have let an 80 year old back into the air after an incident that clearly showed he couldn't handle the aircraft anymore.
