Hi Guys!

Im a collector of airline merchandise and specifically collects crew lanyards.

Im desperately after:

1) First Choice Airways

2) **AER LINGUS** (I have never seen these before, do they exist?)

2) British Airways / Virgin Airlines

**EDIT** THANKS TO TEN WEST I NOW HAVE THOMSON FLY AND I ALSO
HAVE ACQUIRED A THOMAS COOK LANYARD

And would really like:

1) Flyglobespan

**EDIT** SHOULD HAVE FLY GLOBESPAN LANYARD THANKS TO FLYFISH

2) Swissport / Passenger Services Lanyards of any sort?

If any of you aviation / airline fans has any of the above that they no longer want regardless of condition then I would be very happy to take it off you.

I have more or less all the major airlines of Europe, but am desperately after the above.

More than happy to deposit a payment via paypal for your time and generosity.

Please PM me if you can help!

Cheers!

Alex

Have you tried looking on ebay?

Yeah I have looked on ebay....but the lanyards as listed are so rare that you wouldn't see one on there, although I did manage to snap up a Monarch lanyard from ebay UK and a jet2 from ebay DE, but that was a rare occasion!

It's in the post to him.

I had removed the post because I'd heard nothing and assumed from that that he no longer had need of one.

He asked on the Cabin Crew forum too, so I sorted it out for him on there.

Job done. :ok:

You have just got to hope the London postal strike does not delay it:ugh:

I think he'll survive for at least a couple of days without it. ;)

He certainly seems keen. Still, collecting things is an interesting hobby.

... Unless I've just unknowingly equipped the industry's first "Ops Walt"!!

If he starts looking to collect a polo shirt, chinos, stacks of half-used highlighters, empty Marlboro packets and a chewed biro then I'll be worried. :O

Hi guys, just to let you know that I have received a Thomson lanyard from Ten West (Nice One Pal), it has made my day as I never thought I'd see one of those TF lanyards again, if I did...then I would have no choice but to rip it off your neck lol!

My quest for airline lanyards continues!

Check out my completely pointless website for my collection so far!

Mile High Lanyards (http://milehighlanyards.50g.com/)

BTW: It is just airline lanyards I collect, it just started when I was on a Ryanair flight and they were selling them for a few Euro's each, I had a few Euro's in loose change which I needed to use up, so I thought their lanyard was a cool souvenir for a few Euro's, then I travelled with easyJet and so on...and the rest is history, it is a small collection, but a collection that could grow into something unique one day!

Every lanyard I receive will go on the website! with a credit to who sent it!

Feel free to donate lol!

Alex, I've got a Thai Airways one you can have. The 'hook'/ring thingy at the bottom is missing, but can easily be replaced by something similar.

PM me your details and I'll put it in the post.

Looks like young Alex tired of his generously donated collection in rather quick time - about 6 weeks it seems.

Airline Lanyards For Sale (http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/showthread.php/17095-Airline-Lanyards-For-Sale)

Let's hope he wasn't just in it to make a quick profit from some people's generosity from the beginning. That would be a very poor show.

Of course 'alexpilot2008' from London who wanted to be given lanyards in July could be completely unrelated to 'Alex Jay' from Essex who wanted to sell lanyards in August. Maybe I just have a suspicious mind, in which case accept my apologies. If I'm right then he owes a few ppruners an apology.

Gotta be first time I've ever heard something on sale being described as something that you "can't buy". Reverse marketing?
