Missing R22 WA Found

From Radio 6PR Perth This Afternoon,

The wreckage of a Missing R22 which was last seen refuelling at NWN last night (sic) thence bound for Wyloo Stn has been found, according to the news item.
Wreckage found approx 40kms South of Wyloo, according to the bulletin.
No mention of casualties, Believed to be 1 POB.
But, here's hoping....

Helicopter wreckage was found by the Karratha-based Police PC12 that was tasked by Aussar to search for it.

After locating the helicopter the PC12 remained in the area and guided in Rescue 461 and another R22 helicopter to confirm the worst.

Good job by the crew for locating the R22 in difficult terrain.
