Lots of aircraft movements to and from luton

Yesterday there were alot of helicopter movements to and from Luton in a Easterly direction.

The helicopter couldn't have gone too far as it was back within 20 minutes.
This happened most of yesterday (21st june).

I didn't get the reg number.

I also noticed a C130 on finals as well into Luton.

Anyone know what was happening yesterday ( a very busy day).

....one suspects a certain event up the road at Silverstone might have had something to do with it!

And, perhaps another sporting event that starts today in SW14.
