Hello all,

This is my first post on PPrune, and I was wondering if anyone had any information on Evergreen's operation in Trinidad. I saw an ad that they were looking for Training Captains, PIC and SIC for their operation. The tours are 8 weeks on 4 weeks off and I am assuming it is offshore work.

Cheers,

I'd listen to SAS if I were you. Typical GOM operation with remuneration by hours instead of a monthly salary.

Took them over 2 years to get an AOC . They change staff like underwear.

All decisions made in McMinville.

Good Luck.

Mmmm ...

Listen to SASy ....

I understand that the bloke who helped them get that AoC by re-writing their Maintenance Manuals (one of only 2 JAR licensed engineers on the island) ... had to be "let go" for some reason ... a VERY experienced Senior Engineer who had spent years with the company (on VERT REP tasks) ... and from what I can glean was not given much in the way of explanation either!

Also ... think the op in Trini is 212s not 412s

And Oh Yes ...... "Be Vwery Cwaeful!"

Now, let's get this straight; in the GOM does this mean good long term prospects or not?

Um... lifting...

I believe industry standard is one change per tour...
