EMIRATES pilots have complained to Australia's air safety regulator that airline work practices were to blame for the near disastrous tail-strike incident at Melbourne airport three months ago.

The Middle East airline is accused of unfair rostering, clamping down on subsidised housing allowances and bending the rules on flight hours.

Evidence given to the Australian Transport Safety Bureau suggests that "an incident or accident was predictable" because of a culture within the airline of not admitting mistakes.

The pilots say their actions are aimed at improving flight safety standards for Emirates crews and passengers.

I don't like journalists, but that was to be expected.

AAR was just begging for his infantile hip-shots to get published. Too many victimised employees and the ferocious competition simply "loooooove" such outings.

TC is too involved in selfboasting interviews, HH is too much into the new uniforms, so both don't not realise what this idi*t!c VP is destroying. Those below him see it, but only look after their own greed. They talk the tough talk, but walk under the ugly dish-dash and shoot blindly around themselves. Everybody is scared to get into the random line of panicking fire, so everyone shuts up and hides.

It is therefore not surprising that in search of help some seek the press.
That's a double edged sword.
