Hi,

Just trying to work out some figures, might somebody(s) please give an indication of what the current contract hourly (average) rate is for an EASA B1 or B2 licensed engineer is, please quote in Euro or GBP.

Would it make any difference if it were a one year contract with a minimum guaranteed (paid) hours of circa 40 hours per week?

Thanks

You need to be a liitle more specific.

Fixed wing or rotary? What and how many type-ratings required? Where in the world? Are any flights and accom included?

It's all relevant.

Depends on what country, agency, company, type ratings etc.

I connied for lufties in Hamburg for £32 (PAYE) and then at Gatwick for £28 (LTD CO)

I have seen rates from as little as £22 ph up to £36 ph but as i said in the first sentence it all depends where, agency, company and types.

I have heard of higher figures but personally not earned them myself.

Euros i have seen from 28 up to 48 but it varies constantly. Hope this helps.
