Does anyone know how much the JAA CPL/IR licence issue fee is? I need to pay for this myself on the CTC Wings Cadet course so need to factor it into the loan.

Also, if any current or previous cadets can share any informatiom on extra expenses to expect then please share those with me also.

Thanks

I believe it is £221 for the licence issue (at least it was but they have probably pu it up knowing the CAA) however I wouldn't worry about it just yet, you have alot of unforseen costs to come and budgeting to that level will just add to your worries - One remedial flight and that will be gone.

here, only 3000+ 'Part 2' thread (http://www.pprune.org/interviews-jobs-sponsorship/250640-ctc-wings-cadets-thread-part-2-a-160.html?highlight=ctc+wings) Why start new one? Others just wouldn't bother replying or start slagging.

CAA Scheme of Charges - Personnel Licensing (http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/241pls.pdf) also mentioned on another 'recent' thread on PPRuNe and obviously available on CAA website. Talk about spoon-feeding..

The only extra costs to CTC are the licence issue fee at the end and any remedial training needed during the foundation course.

Other than that only what you normally need to live: fuel, food etc.
