I will soon have to choose subjects for years 11 and 12, and want to pick subjects that will help in a job as a Flight Attendant (in Australia)

the only subjects that I have decided on are Advanced English and Hospitality, both of which I feel will be beneficial

others subjects I am considering include general maths, society and culture, community and family, geography modern history and tourism and events.

any help is greatly appreciated

Languages are always good! German, French, Italian, Spanish or any Asian language like Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) or Japanese. I know that Qantas likes this!

I was considering languages. I do french now but there is no way in hell I'd even be able to have a conversation at high school level.

Would the fact you've studied a language help?

If you speak a foreign language and another person doesn't but you are equal to your experience and all that, I'm sure you would get the job. Languages are always useful in this job because you will always meet people who don't speak English.
