Hi guys,

At about 2pm today a DC3 (C47?) flew over my house in Milton Keynes heading in a southwesterly direction. As it flew over I noticed it had black and white stripes on the wings which I think relates to a USAF livery. Any idea which DC3 it was that I saw?

Always nice to see a DC3 flying around. :ok:

Probably Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The stripes were on all aircraft for D-Day, not just US.

Yeah it was possibly the BBMF one, many thanks for responding. I checked their time table after seeing the DC3 and it didnt indicate any flights for the 3rd of June, however did state a flight from Coningsby for a flypast in Aylesbury on June 4th. I guess of course they may not of updated their time table with Wednesdays flight.

None the less its great to see the DC3 :ok:
