Hi,
I am new here and this site is good and informative...

I am interesting to acquire little plane from US, Cessna 150 or 172. To dismantle both wings and one little from the back, and to put plane in 20` container and send it to Europe.
I am particularly interested if someone knows how much will be price for this action (dismantling wings) and some other problems which may occur in whole process?
Regards

You'll need a 40' container and also will need to remove at least one main landing gear leg. Costs for packaging/crating and installing in the container can range from 2000-5000 USD depending on the aircraft.

If you intend to register on other than the N registry, you'll also need an export certificate of airworthiness.

There are many considerations so you will want to talk with a firm who is accustomed to completing these transactions.

Thanks Dude,
hm...40` container will double shiping costs and if other expences approach 5000 usd then maybe we can consider ferry it with professional pilot via Greenland and Island!
Do you perhaps know costs of that way...let`s say New York to Budapest?

ps it can stay on N registry
