EASA plans to introduce a requirement for a class 2 medical for cabin crew (see EASA NPA 2009-2).

Can EASA explain the safety justification for such a stupid requirement (I am not aware of cabin crew incapacitation have resulted in any serious safety incident - apart from this cabin crew incapacitation can not be prevented through any medical checks)?

It seems thousands of cabin crew might be declared unfit for flying due to this new EASA rulemaking proposal!???

Anybody has a suggestion how to stop EASA from issuing such stupid rules?
