A friend of mine, working in Europe, recently suffered a mild stroke. The effects lasted for less than an hour and after a brief overnight stay in hospital was released, cleared by the hospital and by his GP.
As luck would have it his JAR medical is coming up for renewal within a couple of months and he is naturally enough a little bit nervous. As previously mentioned he has been cleared to fly again, albeit by his own GP and the only follow up is that he has to take the normal blood thinning medication.
Obviously one cannot and should not hide this from the relevant medical examination board but what can he expect.....has anyone of you had such an experience?
Thanks............
